Bilderberg Luminary To Select Obama’s Running Mate

Posted by Charlie Kilo on May 25th, 2008

Obama: bought and paid for…

It has been announced that Bilderberg luminary and top corporate elitist James A. Johnson will select Democratic candidate Barack Obama’s running mate for the 2008 election and in turn potentially act as kingmaker for America’s future President.

Johnson also selected John Kerry’s running mate John Edwards in 2004 after Edwards had impressed Bilderberg elitists Henry Kissinger and David Rockefeller with a speech he gave at the globalist confab in Italy that year.

The news further puts to rest any delusions that Bilderberg is a mere talking shop where no decisions are made. In reality, the group is shaping some of the primary developments in the domestic and geopolitical arena today, particularly in the context of oil prices which continue to accelerate towards Bilderberg’s target of $200 dollars a barrel.

Building Manager: DC Madam’s Death Not Suicide

Posted by Charlie Kilo on May 3rd, 2008

I’m shocked, shocked that the official line may be all bull:

The building manager of a Central Florida condo said he spent time talking to Deborah Jean Palfrey on Monday as she packed to go to her mother’s house and she did not seem suicidal. Deborah Jean Palfrey has many ties to Central Florida. For the past 12 years she’s owned a condo at Park Lake Towers in Orlando.

Palfrey’s building manager said she often told him she believed she was being followed and he thinks there may have been some former clients of her escort service who wanted her dead.

“She insinuated that there is a contract out for her and I fully believe they succeeded,” her building manager said.

Administration Set to Use New Spy Program in U.S

Posted by Charlie Kilo on April 14th, 2008

Are you “warm on it”?

The Bush administration said yesterday that it plans to start using the nation’s most advanced spy technology for domestic purposes soon, rebuffing challenges by House Democrats over the idea’s legal authority.

Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff said his department will activate his department’s new domestic satellite surveillance office in stages, starting as soon as possible with traditional scientific and homeland security activities — such as tracking hurricane damage, monitoring climate change and creating terrain maps.

Sophisticated overhead sensor data will be used for law enforcement once privacy and civil rights concerns are resolved, he said. The department has previously said the program will not intercept communications.

“There is no basis to suggest that this process is in any way insufficient to protect the privacy and civil liberties of Americans,” Chertoff wrote to Reps. Bennie G. Thompson (D-Miss.) and Jane Harman (D-Calif.), chairmen of the House Homeland Security Committee and its intelligence subcommittee, respectively, in letters released yesterday.

“I think we’ve fully addressed anybody’s concerns,” Chertoff added in remarks last week to bloggers. “I think the way is now clear to stand it up and go warm on it.”

Bill Clinton, China linked via his foundation

Posted by Charlie Kilo on April 13th, 2008

Bill, Yahoo. Yahoo, Bill. Both of you meet China. Oh, you already know each other? My bad:

As Chinese authorities have clamped down on unrest in Tibet and jailed dissidents in advance of the 2008 Olympics, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton has taken a strong public stance, calling for restraint in Tibet and urging President Bush to boycott the Olympics opening ceremonies in Beijing.

But her recent stern comments on China’s internal crackdown collide with former President Bill Clinton’s fundraising relationship with a Chinese Internet company accused of collaborating with the mainland government’s censorship of the Web. Last month, the firm, Alibaba Inc., carried a government-issued “most wanted” posting on its Yahoo China homepage, urging viewers to provide information on Tibetan activists suspected of stirring recent riots.

Alibaba, which took over Yahoo’s China operation in 2005 as part of a billion-dollar deal with the U.S.-based search engine, arranged for the former president to speak to a conference of Internet executives in Hangzhou in September 2005. Instead of taking his standard speaking fees, which have ranged from $100,000 to $400,000, Clinton accepted an unspecified private donation from Alibaba to his international charity, the William J. Clinton Foundation.

Gore Has Personal Stake in Anti-Warming Campaign

Posted by Charlie Kilo on April 11th, 2008

My father-in-law recently commented that he thinks five or ten years from now Congress will be holding hearings on all the money Al Gore has made pushing a phony global warming agenda. I think he’s right:

Al Gore, alarmist-in-chief of the anti-global warming campaign, stands to make money from his investments in “green” firms selling various climate change remedies.

Gore spoke in Monterey, California, at a March 1 TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) Conference, which bills itself as “an invitation-only event where the world’s leading thinkers and doers gather to find inspiration.” He admitted to having “a stake” in a number of green “investments” that he recommended attendees put their money into,”according to NewsBusters.

Said Gore: “There are a lot of great investments you can make. If you are investing in tar sands, or shale oil, then you have a portfolio that is crammed with sub-prime carbon assets. And it is based on an old model.

“Junkies find veins in their toes when the ones in their arms and their legs collapse. Developing tar sands and coal shale is the equivalent. Here are just a few of the investments I personally think make sense - I have a stake in these so I’ll have a disclaimer there - geo-thermal concentrating solar, advanced photovoltaics, efficiency, and conservation.”

Commented NewsBusters Noel Sheppard, “As Gore spoke these words, pictures of hybrid cars, windmills and solar panels appeared in multiple slides on the screen with company names at the bottom such as Amyris (biofuels), Altra (biofuels), Bloom Energy (solid oxide fuel cells), Mascoma (cellulosic biofuels), GreatPoint Energy (catalytic gasification), Miasole (solar cells), Ausra (utility scale solar panels), GEM (battery operated cars), Smart (electric cars), and AltaRock Energy (geothermal power).”

Sheppard noted Gore’s recommendations that people put money in companies in which he has a financial stake is like “an investment advisor or stock broker giving a seminar to prospects and clients. And, as he tours the world demanding nations stop burning fossil fuels, he will financially benefit if they follow his advice and move to technologies that he has already invested in.”

Expert: “We’re brainwashing our children” about global warming

Posted by Charlie Kilo on April 8th, 2008

A “mild form of McCarthyism“:

William Gray, the well-known Colorado State University hurricane forecaster, routinely uses the annual National Hurricane Conference as a platform to bash global warming. In a statement to Florida Today, Gray argued that the scientific consensus on global warming is bogus — and “a mild form of McCarthyism has developed toward those scientists who do not agree” that mankind is in danger.

“We are also brainwashing our children on the warming topic. We have no better example than Al Gore’s alarmists and inaccurate movie which is being shown in our schools and being hawked by warming activists with little or no meteorological-climate background,” Gray wrote.

Some scientists believe global warming will actually decrease — not increase — the number of hurricanes that form over the Atlantic Ocean each year. Last Friday, in the final session of the hurricane conference, a pair of climate experts said rising sea-surface temperatures in and near the Caribbean could strengthen vertical wind shear. Robust wind shear is the bane of hurricanes, as it tends to tear apart cyclones during their formative stages.

“If (global warming) were to happen, that is an effect which should be more hostile to hurricane building,” said Thomas Knutson, research meteorologist with the Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory in Princeton, N.J.

Knutson and Chris Landsea, science and operations officer with the National Hurricane Center in Miami, said historic observation data and computer models debunk doomsday scenarios that foresee armadas of deadly hurricanes, slamming into the Southeast. “Any (hurricane) trend we’re seeing due to global warming — and I do agree global warming’s real, and manmade causes contribute to it — really has very limited impact, very tiny changes,” Landsea said.

Federal Reserve: subject of many conspiracy theories

Posted by patriot on April 7th, 2008

The Fed’s actions clearly lead people to question its mandated mission and wonder what it’s up to:

Given the fact that it is the target of more than a few conspiracy theories since it was created in 1913, the Federal Reserve System, more commonly known as the “Fed,” in media and finance parlance, could be acting with a bit more prudence during these dark economic times. But no, it’s gone ahead and damned the depression by doing what the New York Times described as the “unthinkable”: bailing out Bear Stearns while giving away hundreds of billions to banks and other institutions whose labyrinthine securitization of our debt economy started this whole mess in the first place.

In other words, rewarding the criminals and screwing the victims.

That kind of behavior is only going to make the conspiracy theorists even cozier. When you already think the Fed has made a serious living from doing everything from transferring public wealth to private hands to signing off on the assassination of John F. Kennedy, you’re not going to start thinking better of them when they offload billions onto Bear Stearns, which is a securities firm and not a bank at all. You’re not going to get the opposition to stop parroting the usual party lines about the Fed being a privately owned bank that screws Americans by charging interest or compromises the overall interests of the United States by unconstitutionally printing up money like it was going out of style. You’re only going to further invigorate them.

That, my friends, is known as reality.

More States Join In Battle to Stop REAL ID ACT

Posted by Charlie Kilo on April 5th, 2008

Via the AmericanFreePress.net:

A Pennsylvania legislative committee’s hearing on March 13 about the so-called Real ID Act was packed with people—most of whom oppose this federal legislation to create a national identification system by nationalizing a new form of state-issued drivers licenses and loading them with sensitive personal information.

Only two members of the 29-member Intergovernmental Affairs Committee showed up to hear the public, even though many citizens went to much expense to be there. The regular media also were absent.

Aaron Bollinger, the nation’s leading anti-Real ID activist, who chairs the National Veterans Committee for Constitutional Affairs, was on the scene, where public sentiment against Real ID was clearly evident in a state that’s considered a key battleground in the sustained effort to defeat the state-by-state implementation of the Real law.

This 2005 law is one of several recommendations of the vaunted 9-11 Commission, whose findings are considered by informed researchers as woefully incomplete and flawed.

“A member of the Lancaster Amish community traveled all the way—about three hours—to Pittsburgh to get out his message,” Bollinger told AFP. The Amish man’s message regarding existing drivers licenses was:

“How PennDOT [state transportation department] is violating existing state law by refusing to issue drivers licenses to those legitimate American citizens [such as the Amish] who do not have Social Security numbers.”
